andrewsonline has introduced a new way of searching for property which gives you flexibility with the search terms you use.

You can now type in any street name, postcode, town or city. The properties which are shown are found based on a set radius around your chosen search term.

When you type in a location into the search bar, our website converts this into a single point and then draws a circle around that point – the default is 2 miles. Just as when you go to Google Maps and type a place name, you get a flag in the centre of that place, we are finding property in a circle around that point.

If you search for Bristol + 0 miles, there would be no search results delivered as it would only be looking in one single point, however if you search for Bristol + 2 miles, the search will return all the properties available within a four mile diameter circle with the centre in the middle of Bristol.
