Property development expert takes key position at Andrews

Property specialist Andrews & Partners has appointed a new Head of Land & New Homes. Martin Blake has been promoted to this position following a long career at Andrews, which has seen him manage one of the companies’ flagship estate agency offices in Clifton and, more recently, heading up the new homes offering for the Bath and Bristol area.

In this new role, Martin will oversee new developments in the South West – including Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Bristol and Somerset – and will work alongside developers to maximise their marketing potential.

“At Andrews Land & New Homes, we are able to offer a bespoke sales service to developers by taking full advantage of Andrews’ extensive branch network” says Martin.

“With our website, presence on all major portals and our branches, we are able to offer a great value marketing service to developers, which includes cost-effective advertising”.

Andrews’ Land & New Homes team work directly with developers to promote their sites and convert leads, and use their extensive knowledge to sell the benefits of developments to customers that may not have necessarily considered purchasing a new home before coming into the branch.

In addition to this, Martin and the team use their experience to offer advice to developers on what to build depending on local demand, and on the specification of the build.

Martin adds: “Using our local market understanding of property values and demographics, we are able to provide a highly valuable service to our developers, allowing them to maximise the potential of their developments.

We produce in-depth market appraisals for developments which offers advice on the locations, local market conditions (including competition from other local developments), the second hand market, market trends and buying profile of the local market. Andrews New Homes also manages developments, offering the developer regular progress reports and looking after the day to day running of the sales and marketing – reducing the need for micro-management of developments”.
