Although you may be driven by price, don’t automatically go with the agent that offers you the highest valuation and the lowest fees – neither will necessarily equate to a quick let and good ongoing service. Instead, look at the whole picture. For example, what different type of management do they offer and what exactly do you get for your fees?

So before you sign on the dotted line, check through the following list to make sure you’re making the right decision.

1. What services do they provide?

It’s important to decide what type of landlord you’ll be and pick a service that suits you. DO you want an agency that will fully manage your property for you or are you going to manage the let yourself?
