Remembering Theo Jackson-Cole this International Women’s Day

On International Women’s Day we are taking the time to remember Theo Jackson-Cole, who sadly died on Saturday 6th March 2021 aged 97.

Theo married our founder Cecil Jackson-Cole in 1973 and was a supporter of Andrews Charitable Trust until her death. She was a huge support to Cecil and his charitable initiatives, and was in her own right a philanthropist too. She continued to contribute ideas to advance the work of her husband through all the businesses and charities that he established until most recently.

Theo has always been an active supporter and contributor to Andrews Charitable Trust and recently spoke with ACT Director Sian about the [establish] project and our focus on supporting young people getting into work. She was also the impetus and introducer between ACT and Child Rescue Nepal, whom we now support.

Sian Edwards, ACT Director said “She was a strong woman who continued to express herself well into her 90s about the need to respect others and recognise spiritual needs. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.”
