Properties fly off the shelves

If you’re thinking about selling then now is the time to put your property on the market, as newly listed properties are flying off the shelves.

According to recent figures over 75% of agents are reporting that once listed homes are selling in less than 28 days.

Even more impressive is that nearly a quarter of homes are selling in less than a week. Whilst Zoopla has also reported that the number of homes selling within the first of marketing is current at its highest level ever.

Rightmove also reported in April that it was taking just 45 days on average to sell a property across the UK, which is a record low. This is also 16 days quicker than the April average between 2015 and 2019 which was 62 days.

Properties are currently selling quickest in areas that property price growth is also exceeding the national average. Whilst homes in London are actually taking the longest to sell, at an average of 57 days.
