Branch spotlight - Reigate
We caught up with Ed Brennan, our Reigate Lettings Manager to hear all about the rental opportunities in this popular London suburb.
Andrews has been in the local area for over 30 years, we cover Reigate, Redhill and the surrounding villages.
Tell us about Reigate.
Within the local area there is a wide variety of properties from large detached family homes to studio apartments. Living here you have the best of both worlds, easy access into London and down to the coast but also having some amazing countryside on our doorstep, from Priory Park in the heart of Reigate to Box Hill. Reigate offers you the village feel with a range of independent shops, restaurants as well some well-known brands and this is why its so popular with families moving out of London.
Reigate also has some great schools which are highly rated via Ofsted another reason the area is attractive to families. This year there has also been the opening of the new leisure complex in the heart of Redhill town centre which boasts cinema screens, bowling lanes, crazy golf, axe throwing and more, it’s lends itself to a great evening out with family and friends.
Within the local area you have East Surrey Hospital which attracts doctors and nurses from all over the country and overseas, and Gatwick airport is not too far away.
And what about the team?
Within the Reigate branch there is over 75 years’ experience with in the property sector, from Ed the lettings manager who has over 18 years’ experience and Matt the sales manager who has been with Andrews for over 10 years.
The lettings team comprises of Ed Brennan – Lettings manager who has worked for Andrews for nearly 13 years, Maria Morgan – Senior negotiator, has been with Andrews for over 2 year and has been in the industry for over 10 years, Isa Darr – negotiator has been with Andrews for 6 months. Sevda Nur Duzgun, our Property manager for the Reigate office, has been with Andrews for nearly 2 years.
Matthew Plunkett heads up the sales team and has Isaac, James and Connor work with him.
The Land and New Homes South East team are also based out of the Reigate office, headed up by Alex White who has been with Andrews for over 36 years.
We find no two days are the same in our office, if we are not out showing tenants around the properties we have available to let, then we are in the office speaking to our customers and building solid relationships. Getting involved in our local community is really important to us, which is why the Andrews Reigate branch is the headline sponsor for the annual award-winning Run Reigate, which attracts over 10,000 visitors to this local town event, one Sunday every year in September. What about the rental market?
The lettings market in the local area is very buoyant, we currently have a waiting list of good quality tenants but a lack of rental property. Prospective tenants are attached to the local area for a range of reasons, from the great road and rail links, with Redhill on the mainline into central London Reigate is serviced by the M25 junction 8.
