Fundraising Week
We’re holding a fundraising week from 8th to 14th July to help transform the lives of vulnerable young people. Our teams are engaging in various activities to reach our collective £5,000 target. From virtual cycle rides to Paris, to bake sales!
We’re proud to be charity owned. Through Andrews Charitable Trust, our majority shareholder, we're transforming the lives of vulnerable young people with safe affordable housing via our [establish] project.
The [establish] project
[establish] provides high quality, safe, and affordable housing to young people vulnerable to homelessness, helping them grow into fully independent adults.
Andrews Charitable Trust partners with local youth support organisations who provide ongoing weekly support to the residents. They work with:
- 1625 Independent People in Bristol
- Oxfordshire Youth in Oxfordshire
- CAYSH in London

Our role
Andrews Property Group provides housing management services directly and liaises regularly with the [establish] tenants housed within the project. As well as taking part in fundraising activities, our team also get involved in volunteering for the projects we support.
How the fundraising helps
The £5,000 raised will fund 10 deposits for [establish] tenants when they move on to the private rental sector. Saving for a deposit is challenging for many young people, making this support essential. Keep an eye out for your local branch activity and support if you can.
Our founder
The first Andrews Estate Agency was opened in 1946 by our founder, Cecil Jackson-Cole, a true philanthropist and entrepreneur whose mission was to use business as a force for good. As co-founder of Oxfam, he set up the first charity shop and went on to create more than 60 charities, some of which you will recognise today, such as Action Aid and Help the Aged (now Age UK).
