Making the most of your living space

Most of us have spent the last few weeks at home and this time has allowed people to become more and more inventive with ways to make the most out of their home and space available.

So, how are you using your living room? Well it’s clear that you’re missing the gym as over 5.5 million of you joined in with Joe Wicks’ first virtual P.E class and views of at home yoga and fitness classes have sky rocketed. Oti Mabuse from Strictly Come Dancing also held a kids dance class where over 66,000 families joined in with the choreography.

It seems that quite a few of you also prefer something a little less active as the first rehearsal of Gareth Malone’s Great British Home Chorus was viewed by nearly 300,000 people.

It’s also no surprise to see that mindfulness meditation is the UK’s favourite from of wellbeing. Spending a little amount of time meditating each day can really help if you’re feeling stressed out or worried. Finding a cosy quiet area of your home is best for to feel the most relaxed.

Whatever you’re using your home for we hope you’re keeping safe and well. If you’ve got any other great ideas of how to adapt your living room then be sure to let us know on Facebook and we’ll share the best ideas!
