Coronavirus Customer Policy

Following the most recent update from the Government on 17th May 2021, we are able and available to continue to provide our services across sales, lettings, mortgages and insurance protection with adjustments where necessary. In order to do this safely, we will be following the guidelines set out by the Government.  

Please note that we will not carry out physical valuations and viewings if:

• Someone in the household has shown Coronavirus symptoms within the last 14 days. Please visit the Government or NHS website for more information on symptoms and isolating.
• There is somebody high- risk living in the property. Please see the Government or NHS website for more information on those who are at risk and shielding.

What we will do

• We will always complete a virtual appointment as the first step, before a physical appointment, in order to reduce physical appointments to only those necessary.

• We will be asking anyone who wants to view a house we have on our books if they (the viewer) are in a position to or have the means to buy or rent the house if the viewing is successful. This may involve speaking to our mortgage adviser.

• We will follow Government social distancing guidelines and keep 2 metres away from others at all times.

• We have personal protective equipment (PPE) available and will use this when visiting all properties. This includes gloves, facemasks and hand sanitiser. No viewings at all can take place without everyone wearing a mask or a face shield.

• We will keep a record of all visits and who attended. If a member of staff subsequently tests positive for Coronavirus we will inform any relevant parties.

When we visit your property

• We will require you to follow social distancing guidelines and keep 2 metres away from us at all times.

• Please leave all doors open and lights on prior to our visit so that we can minimise touching surfaces.

• Whilst we are inside the property please vacate the property so that it is easier for us to move around safely.

• Let us know that you have read and understood these guidelines and contact us if you have any questions regarding our visit as soon as possible.

When you view a property

• We will require you to follow social distancing guidelines and keep 2 metres away from others at all times.

• A facemask or face shield must be worn. No viewings at all can take place without everyone wearing a mask or a face shield.

• We are limiting the number of people able to view a property at any one time to a maximum of 2 people from one household.

• Please avoid touching any surfaces in the property.
